The 2020 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) International Investment and Trade Expo will be held from Oct. 16 to 18 in Qingdao, East China’s Shandong province. Products and services of more than 600 companies will be exhibited through a combination of online and offline channels.
This Expo consists of 7 stages, including the inauguration of Qingdao China-SCO Countries Cooperation Hub, project signing, Qingdao Forum, online and offline exhibitions.
On the press conference held on October 9th, Yu Fenggui, director of Shandong Provincial Committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said that the expo this year is expected to see the participation of envoys from 28 countries to China, including 18 SCO nations, and the exhibition of products and services of more than 600 companies at home and abroad, including nearly 300 on-site exhibitors and 350 participating online, among which will be State Grid, FAW Group, Habib Bank of Pakistan, etc.
The expo will focus on the exhibition of products and services in finance, agriculture, cultural tourism, light industry and crafts, as well as many featured products of SCO countries, such as black tea and amethyst from Sri Lanka, saffron, carpet, rubies, wine from Azerbaijan, cashmere products from Mongolia, honey from Russia, etc.
